ABOUT ME

My husband and I have recently moved from Nashville, TN to Stockholm, Sweden. We want to see and experience all there is in Europe while we are here!
I love trying new things when I travel and experiencing the local culture through the food and drink. Since I grew up on a farm, I have a special appreciation for the outdoors. I can sit in a park or on a bench for hours and people watch, or go out and party with the best of them.
I don't smoke and I'm very laid back and low maintenance.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is what you make of it. Sometimes it's rough and seems like nothing will get better, but make the best of it and keep on going.
Play and work should have a healthy balance - there's no point to working if you don't take the time to enjoy the benefits.
Travel. See the world. Imagine things from others' perspective.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since we just moved thousands of miles from home, we know that we will miss our friends from home dearly, but we're ready to meet new friends and gain new perspectives about the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Best experience of my life is when I took my European adventure - 8 weeks, 10 countries all over Europe, solo. I had gotten laid off due to the economy and decided to make the best of it by heading out for my dream trip. It was a scary thing to do alone (especially as a young American girl), but best time of my life.

Now I'm back in Europe for an indefinite time, ready to soak up all the food, drink and culture I can!
