ABOUT ME

im on a mission to travel the world and eat whatever/everything i can. i plan to learn whatever i can about the food i eat, then upon returning to USA opening a restaurant with the knowledge ive gained around the world. my culinary experience is varied, from throwing NY pizza on the west coast to running my own kitchen at a wine and beer bistro. when im not at work i spend my days experimenting in the kitchen, rock climbing, or attempting to brew beer. when night falls im all about grabbin a few (or more) pints with friends and whoever else is out there. im very much into craft beer, great food, and better friends.

PHILOSOPHY

i live to eat, i eat to live. experiencing everything i can, however i can.. a real education from experience itself, not from a classroom. "i must be in the mood to drink wine, but i must only be awake to drink beer"

id love to host but at this time my rommnate is not so keen on the idea.. other than hosting im so down to show whoever wants to experience my city like a local does. grab a drink and/or a bite, hit the beach or the trails.. or whatever else you fancy!

i dig all music.. except country. i have an affinity for reggae. but whatever mood im in determines the song that plays.. from steel pulse to chopin.

besides cheesy horror, and chick flick tearjerkers.. im pretty open minded. creating a list of favorites would take too long.. there are far too many great movies to great a top 10. but, i can sample: a bronx tale, i <3 huckabees, life aquatic, annie hall, billy madison.. most anything produced by tarantino, woody allen, adam sandler, mel brooks, wes anderson, scorsese etc.

i read a good amount of philosophy, from dawkins to bertrand russell. one of my favorite books of these past years was "end of faith" by sam harris. catcher in the rye, the jungle, the sound and the fury are among some of my favorite books. chuck palahniuk, bill bryson, anthony bourdain, and bertrand russell are among some of my favorite authors
