ABOUT ME
I decided to get more active on CS after reading a quote at the beginning of the European refugee crisis that said, "When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence." That shaped the way I tried to live my life in Sarajevo for two years, where I hosted many wonderful people and made some lifelong friends.
I have now moved back to the US to work with anti-war organizing and would love to meet travellers and other interesting people passing through. I travel a lot for my job and am hoping to reconnect with the CS world after a few years offline.
I'm interested in activism and politics, feminism, anthropology/sociology, and I like crafts and nature and reading books. I'm hoping to get more into photography, hiking and sustainable living, and always love to learn to cook new recipes or discover new music.
