Dutch guy with a lust for life, always eager to hang out with couchsurfers, to have a good time together and to broaden each others perspectives. My current mission is to understand the world better through travel, people and books. I studied Cultural Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), but I travel around whenever there's the possibility, because that's when I learn the most.

Currently finishing a masters degree in War Studies at the University of Potsdam (near Berlin).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel to learn about the daily lives of people who live in the places that I visit. And when I'm at home, I like to give other travelers that same opportunity by hosting them, showing them what life in iconic Berlin/Amsterdam is like.
