Pinheiros is tiny place in Douro Valley.
The nearest railway station is in Peso da Régua, about 40km, with a morning daily bus connection.

I will stay there temporally for a couple of months.

A reference is mandatory!
I will be asked to write something about how was your stay in my place, so, if there's no reference, I will have to say I will not host you again.

ABOUT ME
Now I'm retired.
I get up when the sun lights my face or my dog enters my room to remember me it's time to get up for some food and walk.
The church in Pinheiros is my meeting point to pick you up to my place, so, don't ask me my address.
You'll get it once you will be at my place, because for me is always a pleasure to walk with my dog.
If you want I open my door's house to your request, please tell me where you want to stay!
I can host i Pinheiros a day, one condition, don't come late in the evening.
If you take public transportation: train stops at Peso da Régua and in front there is the bus station where you'll the bus around 11am. It only works once a day. If you loose this bus there's no chance to go to Pinheiros, 40km far.
Don't ask me to pick up at railways station because I will not drive 80km to bring you home.
When you ask to stay at my place and for any reason you change something, a new request is mandatory...!!!

If for some reason the person accompanying you on the first meeting is different from the original request, I will consider your request to be ineffective and my offer will end at that time.
If you arrive before the dates you have sent in your request I will consider it ineffective.
I hope good will and common sense, this is not a police station. For now that's all.

Friends are something very precious and rare, so don't ask me to be your friend if we never have seen each other before.
If you send me a request in a month advance I may say NO. If you really want to stay in my place please don't give up and remember me you had already sent me a request. Every single day a have a lot of requests...!!!!
All requests are checked. If you don't host for sure I will say NO. First do your homework hosting guests...!!!
I like a good conversation and some red wine (Douro) is very welcome, but a really cold "vinho verde" is not bad in a warm evening.
I like walking with my black dog, Diogo Cão.
Sun, white sand and some beach. I'm a calm guy.
I like very much to walk in Douro among the tree wines and fruit trees. Sometimes I colect some fruit straight from the trees and eat it at once... fabulous!
I like to put some fuel in car and go.
I travel a lot in Iberia.
I travel as much as I can.
I love petsitting...!!!
I have a dog, but I don't have cats. I am the cat and dog sitter of my friends.
If I offer my availability I can guarantee that your pets will be in good hands.

Some are very funny.
I was about 10 yo I locked myself in the kitchen, I looked for my mum cookbook and I cooked my first orange cake.
About 12 yo I woke up at 4 am and I went to the fish market to buy fish baits for fishing. I salted them and I went for fishing really early. What a great day I had.
I traveled by Interrail across Europe a few times.
I stayed almost 2 weeks abroad petsitting a dog and a cat.
