I'm in a sort of transitory period at the moment, currently bouncing around various parts of Michigan. I just returned home from Alaska, lived in the UK for the past 3 years, and a few places before that. I love and need coffee, would like to own a heard of Shetland ponies, and never turn down an impromptu dance party.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was great- I stayed on a tallship with the first mate and thanks to his great hospitality I narrowly missed camping out in a torrential downpour. Even had breakfast with the crew! Unexpected and fantastic

Interests

Museums, music, photography, darkroom printing, coffee/tea on repeat, metropolises, hiking, canoeing, cute animals (anything furry like bunnies, squirrels, etc), night walks, roadtrips, the sun, socialising at pubs, dancing, and getting lost.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most musical genres. Indie, rock, alternative, folk. I keep it interesting by shuffling my music library- recent line-ups included the Clash, Fleet Foxes, Gordon Lightfoot, Air, !!!, the Band (maybe not the best mixed cd).

I got a kindle this year so I’ve been trying to enjoy some of the free classics- Dickens, the Brontes (Emily, yes, Anne, no), Dostoyevsky. Ok, I also read the Hunger Games and yes I liked it enough to buy the other two
