ABOUT US

Hey there! We're a Canadian couple out to explore and adventure our way though this amazing thing called life. We have made our home Nova Scotia's beautiful South Shore, where we are having fun growing our own food, growing our own business and all with two growing toddlers! Lately we've been getting excited about hitting the road and taking our first family adventure. Visiting family elders in Germany and then beaching it on Gran Canaria.

We love to travel and to spend good times with new wonderful people. We prefer taking our time traveling, making local friends and letting things happen as they may.

The last movies we watched and really enjoyed were, "Boyhood", "Death To Smoochy" and "Disney's The Road To Eldorado"

We are currently reading, together, "The Voyage of the Northern Magic" by Diane Stuemer. A woman recounts the time she and her family left "normal life" behind, bought themselves a schooner sailed around the world. True story!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Hilary: In the Spring I saw bald eagles mating. It was stunning. At first we thought they were fighting over something; they were swooping at each other & such. Then they flew up really high, locked their legs together & just plummeted towards the ground, spiraling down! They fell below the treeline & then, a few moments later, they soared up again & flew off together into the distance. Incredible.

Chris: Oddly similar... flying in an airplane at 3000 feet, letting someone cut the engine, letting us go into a spin just so I can save the day in the nick of time.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Well, we're into organic farming & natural health. Christopher started a heirloom seed company & I'm a Holistic Nutritional Counselor, studying herb medicine, as an aside. We love growing & cooking quality meals & appreciate the outdoors & nature. I feel that we do our best to live out our beliefs, and in turn, teach & share though how we live.
