I'm bordering on becoming a professional student, given that I'm 33 and STILL in school! It's taking me forever to finish my PhD, which the reason I moved to Seattle in the first place. But I LOVE Seattle and am happy to be here. When I'm not cooped up working on the computer, I prioritize getting out into the mountains for long hikes or playing in the air on ropes and silk fabric, and Seattle is able to offer ample access to all of my favorite activities. I also really enjoy meeting new people, trying (and creating) new and strange foods, enjoying some good tea and wine, reading good books, watching thought-provoking movies, etc.
