My name is not actually hissy fit, it's hilary. That was my nickname on Facebook- and somehow it stuck on here. In truth, I'm not a hissy fit, I'm actually a pretty cheerful gal. ;)

I like kids & animals and hearing the stories of others. I am a mom and my daughter is still little. So, my world primarily revolves around her. I started beekeeping in 2011 and now I'm obsessed with saving the bees and creating beautiful, natural products for humans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Air travel is super bad for the environment. SO, I prefer to drive or take trains to see the sights and meet actual humans. Currently, I'm searching for a new home for our apiaries & natural product manufacturing. So, I'm driving to the locations I'm scouting for the business. It makes me so happy to know there are still GOOD people in this world who will open their home to a traveling stranger. I love that about humans.

I'm currently reading LOVE by Bell Hooks and it's knocking my socks off.
I also have some Audible books going while I drive and BORN a CRIME by trevor noah & MY LIFE ON THE ROAD by gloria steinem are incredible. I dig on autobiographies. ;)
