About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy my newfound freedom after graduating, read more, write more and do more things that intimidate me.
ABOUT ME
I just recently moved back to California after living in London for a year and a half (where I got my MA) and am currently enjoying the free time that comes from being severely underemployed. I'm hoping to explore more of America over the next year, and hopefully couchsurfing will be a huge part of that experience. My goal is to work in the museum field, but I also enjoy writing on the side (although I doubt that will go anywhere). I like spending a lot of time alone, doing quiet activities... except for when I'm traveling :) I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of interesting people from various parts of the US this year... we'll see how it goes!
PHILOSOPHY
To each their own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My friends from London and I are planning a trip along the coast of San Diego in the next couple weeks and are looking for some welcome couches to crash on!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a couple times but have never surfed.
Interests
Reading (mostly fantasy and classic books, with the occasional history or political one thrown in), Anthropology, feminist theory. Playing the harmonica, pathetically; writing, going on long spontaneous drives so I can listen to a Bruce Springsteen album in full, and reading way too much gossip and cultural commentary online.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in London for a year.... took a five hour walk from one end of the City to the other, following the Thames the whole time.
