My name is Hilde, a 34-year-old and love being active. I'm an avid hiker going on (solo) hikes for the last 15 years, with memorable treks including the Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal 10 years ago and a recent solo adventure in the Everest region. Here I ended up hiking for a month, starting very low, ending at base camp and crossed two passes. I’ve also enjoyed exploring the areas around Kathmandu while hiking from village to village and made many friends along the way.

Yoga has been an important part of my life for the past 15 years. Currently, I am teaching yoga in Sri Lanka, where I am also working as a kitesurf instructor.

I have a profession as a sustainability consultant specializing in infrastructure and renewable energy projects. With a background in mechanical and hydraulic engineering, I’ve dedicated my career to promoting sustainable practices and contributing to meaningful environmental solutions. While traveling my passion for discovering new places is matched by my aim make a positive impact wherever I travel. For example, I recently assisted with a water pipeline project in Nepal and am currently partnering with local initiatives that align with sustainable development goals in Sri Lanka.

This combination of activities allows me to stay active, share my passions, and continue contributing to the communities I visit.

I look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals and exploring new opportunities to make a difference.
