Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the opportunity that it gives me to meet new people and make new friends. I'm a strong believer in alternative economies and I love the exchange that occurs through couchsurfing. I feel like it is the perfect way to experience a new place and get the most out of all of your travels!

Interests

I love live music! Music festivals, shows, parties, raves. You name it. Will travel for live music! I'm also a huge fan of yoga.
I also love the outdoors. Whether it's hiking through the mountains, kayaking along the river, or zip lining through the forests, I'm there! While I love being active, I'm also super content with laying on the beach, listening to the surf, and reading a good book all day :)

Movies- I'm mostly into cult movies, indie movies, documentaries and foreign films. Some of my recent favorites have been Mersalka, Submarine, Liquid Sky, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Books- The Power of Now by: Eckhart Tolle, The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life, Dirt by: William Bryant Logan, Cruddy by: Lynda Barry and many more! I'd love to hear your reading recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed to the top of a tree house in South Africa and came face to face with a monkey, then watched the sunrise over the rainforest.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a certified yoga instructor, so I'd love to give you a free class!

I also recently took up hoop dancing! I'd love to show you a few moves and learn new ones from you.
