I have been traveling solo since I was 15 years old, and am trying to take in as much as possible. I love to eat. I love to hike. I love to take photographs, kayak, play the ukulele, ride bikes, climb trees, and eat ice cream.

My passion is culture, and my job is to help others become more interculturally competent. I work for a study abroad organization, facilitating programming for others to explore the world, develop skills, and give back to communities. In my free time I run outdoor team building exercises for young students, I volunteer as an usher at the Providence Performing Arts Center, and I am painting a mural in my backyard.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I travel because I like to learn about cultures. There is no better way to understand and explore a culture than with a local companion. I believe that couchsurfing will provide me with authentic cultural experiences wherever I go, and it will also give me a chance to give back to a local by sharing my knowledge and culture with them in return.

I lead a group of high schoolers on a two week trip to Hungary where we ran an art workshop for children in a refugee camp on the Slovenian boarder.

I have a lot of stories to share. I can teach you to knit, and how to lash. I can teach you to build a camp fire. I can teach you to kayak. I can teach you to swim. I can make a great Gado Gado dish.
