关于我

Hi 👋 I’m Dudey.
I’m from a small town in Rajasthan, grew up in Mumbai and live in kathmandu now.
I love sports(football, cricket, tennis), yoga, swimming, cycling, hiking, and in general walking a-lot.

I also love playing guitar and making music, i workout once in a while, watch football and cooking which is one of my fav thing to do.

I truly enjoy multicultural places and to move between extremes either it be traveling styles such as accommodations, transportation, food, outfits, weather, countries, continents and whatever falls in between.

I’m a very outgoing person, friendly and sarcastic sometimes. What truly makes me alive is talking to the people of different color, race, nationalities and backgrounds.
I talk fast and easily get out of words sometimes 😅 I’m a non vegetarian and eat almost every types of food.

I love hanging out with hosts/guests and travelers that are Honest, genuine & True about themselves and their lives or experiences. I’m mostly a night person and prefer to wake up late.

A person should be open for everything . If you accept everything then everything is at your service. But if you separate and judge, it makes your world smaller. He makes himself small.

Travel is the best school of life, it broadens your mind. It breaks your paradigms, stereotypes and prejudices.

Well first reason is to get affordable accommodation while i travel and to meet new, amazing people and get to learn things by being close to them and getting actually involved in their way of living.

兴趣

Since early days I’ve always been an outdoor child, i loved roaming around and exploring the unknown let that be nature, villages, cities, mountains, jungles, everything.

That exploration urge really got strong overtime and once i took my first solo trip(which was from mumbai to goa) it became the catalyst for a never ending journey.

I always liked being around people from different parts of the world, people who are different because theres so much to learn from their experiences and perspectives on the world. Stories of the places they come from, the way they live their life, the food they eat, the language they speak and different cultural traditions they practice, it has always been very fascinating for me.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music is kind of my daily fuel. I play guitar and DJ a bit, so I’m always bouncing between vibing and breaking songs down in my head. My taste is all over the place in the best way, from chill indie and alt rock to deep house, techno, and the kind of tracks that hit different on late-night drives. I’m into artists that actually feel something, not just sound good. Give me a good melody, a moody atmosphere, or a drop that makes you close your eyes for a second I’m sold. My Fav artists are: Nirvana, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Eminem, Tyler the Creator, Pink Floyd, Drake, Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Movies for me are more about the vibe than the genre. I love films that leave you thinking a bit after they end. Psychological stuff, visually aesthetic shots, or stories that feel real and raw. But at the same time, I’m not above a fun, easy watch when the mood’s right. I appreciate good cinematography, strong soundtracks, and characters that don’t feel fake. If a movie makes me want to travel, question life, or just sit in silence for a minute after yeah, that’s a win. My Favorite movies are: Forrest Gum, Catch me if you can, Iron Man, Saving Private Ryan, 1917, All Quite on the western front, The Amazing Spider man, Into the Wild, 127 Hours.

Books I won’t pretend I’m reading 24/7, but when I do pick one up, it’s usually something that shifts perspective. I’m into psychology, fiction , and stories that explore how people think, feel, and move through life. I like books that stay in your head long after you’ve closed them. Also down for a good recommendation, especially if it’s something a bit unconventional or thought-provoking. My favorite books are: The Alchemist, Norwegian Wood, The silent Patience, Man searching for meaning, Surrounded by Idiots.

Overall, I’m always open to discovering new music, films, or books especially through people I meet. If you’ve got something you love, put me on. I’ll probably return the favor with something equally addictive.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

During my 6 months of internship in Nepal, I had the chance to host quite a few travellers at my place and that honestly became one of the best parts of the whole experience.

What started as just offering a place to stay turned into something much bigger. My home became this little meeting point of cultures, stories, and random late-night conversations. Some days we’d just share simple meals, other days we’d go out exploring the city, grab street food, or sit around talking about life, travel, and everything in between.

I hosted people from all kinds of backgrounds, and every single one brought a different perspective. It really changed the way I see connection how strangers can feel like friends within a day or two if the vibe is right. There was something special about creating a space where people felt comfortable, safe, and welcomed, especially when they were far from home.

It also taught me a lot about being a better host being flexible, understanding different cultures, and paying attention to the little things that make someone’s stay memorable.

Looking back, it wasn’t just about helping travellers it was about building real connections and creating moments that stuck with all of us. Some of those people are still friends I keep in touch with, which makes it even more worth it.

教,学,和分享

As a full-time traveller, I’m just trying to experience places properly meet people, share stories, and leave good energy wherever I go. I enjoy sharing knowledge and exchanging skills along the way too I can help with English, music (I play guitar and DJ a bit), yoga, and even some cooking. Always down to learn something new from you as well.

For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about a place to stay it’s about connecting with locals, understanding how people really live, and respecting the space and culture I’m stepping into. I see travel as a privilege, not something to take for granted.

I’ve realised it’s not about how much someone has, but how willingly they share it. Some of the smallest gestures I’ve received while traveling have meant the most, and that’s something I carry with me.

Travel clears your head in a way nothing else really does. It puts things into perspective, makes you more open, and honestly teaches you things no book can at least not this fast or this vividly.

At the end of the day, I just try to stay open, grounded, and bring good vibes. The rest kind of takes care of itself.

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

Food, Drinks, laughter, Travel experiences, stories.

I am a very flexible person and like to follow the hosts schedules.

When possible, i normally try to bring a souvenir as a small present to the host from the place I’m coming from as i travel for their generosity and kindness.

I also believe leaving genuine reference is very important in this platform and a basic form of respect. I always leave one and expect one in return 😊
