Hi!!! I’m Himeno Onishi from Japan.
I love traveling, exploring the world, meeting new people and learning culture and traditions.

I was born in Hyogo prefecture in Japan and move to Fukuoka and Aichi. When I moved to Fukuoka, I really enjoyed seeing these prefecture differences.

However, I’ve been into overseas since I met Australian when I was 11 years old. I was shocked by all of differences between Japan and Australia such as language and culture!!!

I felt like “Even within Japan, there are differences and they are interesting, but how interesting are the differences in the world!”

This is the prologue of my journey to the world.
I hope we can create new stories and memories together!!!!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

One of my housemates is a Couch surfer.
And I’ve met so many Couch surfers and had so many amazing friends through him.
Every couch surfers who are visiting us is so friendly, wise and worldwide. I’ve been learning many new things from them!!!
So I wanted to be a member of this community!!!
That’s the reason why I’m on Couchsurfing now!!!

Going to the Philippines alone to study English 2017.

I hadn’t experienced to go abroad alone since I went to the Philippines alone to study English 2017.
Until that time, I didn’t have any skills to speak English!!!
After I went to the Philippines and I got the basic skill of English, my life is totally changed.
My world is expanding, more interesting and exciting!!!
Now, I don’t really have that much hesitation to travel alone. But every journey is starting from the Philippines of 2017.
So, I pick this up as one amazing thing I’ve done.
