HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

why spending rare, precious travelling money on expensive hotels that try to sell an image of a city thats not real or cheap hostels with people who dont know how to entertain themselves, if you can have it for free?! if you really want to get to know the travelling place you are at, stay with people who live there. thats the only real experience! i dont like tourism, its just another way to suck out culture and make profit, so you have to do sightseeing on your own,but you can see how i live.maybe you get inspired or maybe you wont...

i am new member but benefited in australia from other surfers but never had the nerv and the time and the internet connection to sign up. but now i have!

is my breath...all the money i have/make/find i spend on concertfestival tickets, cds, mp3s (yeah illegal downloads aint good eh), headphones in all its varities, mixers, so basically anything that is necessary to listen...working on my DJ career...=)yeah right...
music unifies individuals who lost the sense of commnity on their desperate discovery of their individuality.thats what interests me the most. it brings out all the drugs in your body that make you feel ALIVE!and music is an international language that is been celebrated in any culture of the world.
i also enjoy dancing, expressing my body with the help of music...i would love to experience some real tribal dance stuff cuz MEN MUST DANCE!
i like modern theater, maybe modern art in general. its great what people still create although everybody says its been done before.
so if you are as passionate about shit as i am i think we gonna have a crazy time...

music: modeselektor,blockhead, moderat,damu the fudgemunk, cunninlinguists,siriusmo,dj shadow,kollektiv turmstrasse, amon tobin,group home,gorillaz (best concert...words cannot explain), trentemoeller and really many many more...
movies: a clockwork orange, waltz with bashir, la haine, bin jip, fight club, documentaries...
i do read books but it kinda doesnt make sense to name them cuz there are mainly german...
