A portuguese living in Norway. Enjoying life to the fullest at last!
Accepting all the change I've been through as a gift. Discovering new meanings in the smallest things. Managing to live with much less and still being happier. Growing up as a person every single day. Losing control on something and still reaching the "peace of mind" state. Breaking the chain which has denied me the freedom I always looked for. Setting myself free!

Down to earth, honest and friendly!

I love meeting new people and to learn foreign languages! I'm usually in a good mood and I love smiling and laughing. It's way easier to face life this way than being depressed all the time.

Pretty much a common person when it comes to enjoy the spare time. I'm really into boardgames! Sports, reading, movies, friends, walks, etc.

I studied in Finland for 5 months in 2009. Amazing experience! Back to Portugal to finish my studies and work for a while... Life became way too predictable and I got myself into a routine which was destroying me inside... So I decided to pack a 20kgs bag and moved spontaneously in Oslo, Norway, in the summer of 2011.

Hard working, active and optimistic by nature. I'm never giving up until the game is over. There's only triumph or defeat to me and that's something I should work on. I'm used to finish what I have started. TO TRY is the only way for me to live with no regrets.

I consider myself a night owl. It feels good to be awake a bit longer and just look outside the window while your mind wanders around... Peace of mind!

I love ice cream, chocolate, cookies, muffins, and candy. Taking this into account you can have an idea of how sweet I can be! :P Life without these sweet moments wouldn't be the same thing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now that I can't really host people. However, I try to meet couchsurfers anyway so that I can keep the "couchsurfing spirit" high! Do you wanna hang out or just take it easy with a cup of coffee? Let me know!

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter books (just fantastic!)... And I haven't read too much in english so far... Favourite portuguese author: José Agualusa.

Moovies... Hum... Type: terror, action, adventure and thriller.

Music... Classic sometimes, comercial music, rock, pop, fado (typical portuguese music - Mariza is maybe the most famous singer of fado around the world but Ana Moura is my favourite)... It depends on the spirit!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving in Norway completely alone with a 20kgs pack was so far the craziest thing I've ever done. :P A life change!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you portuguese! =) I can also teach you how to make really good cakes! :P I enjoy helping and I don't mind to share my knowledge with the others.
