ABOUT ME

I would say that I am a citizen of the world. I live in the US currently, but I have spent most of my life in Hong Kong.

i have many hobbies but I feel like i still haven't discovered my passion. Right now I do technical / business work at an Oil company to pay the bills.

I am always looking to learn from different people and their perspectives. I feel that you can always learn something from everyone.

I think i am pretty easy to talk to and get along with most people.

PHILOSOPHY

Dont sweat the small stuff.

It is nice to be important. But its more important to be nice.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelling, surfing and hosting.

If people couchsurf with me, or if I stay with someone, I would really like to actually be able to spend time with the person checking out the city, if possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had three extremely positive CS experiences. Two in indonesia and one in portland, USA.

My friend told me about it and i thought what a cool idea. I just love the sense of community that is the vision of this website. Broading each others horizons, travelling and getting the inside scoop on locations around the world from the locals.

兴趣

Sports Tennis- love this. Grew up watching tennis and follow it religiously. Huge federer fan right here. Basketball - watched and played throughout school. Was a McGrady fan when he played in Orlando and supported the knicks when they had the duo of allen houston / latrell sprewell. Keep up on and off with the NBA.

Running - It keeps me sane. As long as i am able healthwise - i will always run. I typically run anywhere from a mile to 13.1 miles or half marathon distance.

Started to like house music and my was introduced to the world of elektronica about a year ago.
Love chocolate. eat it almost every day and try different types of chocolate made from beans all over the world. My favorite is the Chuao made by Amadei. Though i also like the Neuhaus Venezuelan Dark Chocolate.

Sparkling wine is my latest fixation. A nice glass of prosecco on the patio with good company is a perfect afternoon for me.

Saw the exchange of a country between two nations.

Saw the sunrise from the top of Gunung Agung (3000+m volcano) in Bali - As the first rays of sunlight hit the top of the volcano, the shadow of the volcano grows on the ocean. It was a beautiful sight!
