Overview
About Me
At the moment, I am doing a PhD in Computer Science in Bolzano, Italy. I have been lucky so far to live in three countries and to travel to many more. At some point, I stopped chasing after every possible chance to travel to somewhere to increase the list of visited countries. Traveling has become a part of my life which naturally complements my daily life at the place where I am currently living.
If I were to describe myself, I would say I am spontaneous, passionate and enthusiastic about things I love and I do (no matter big like my job or small like preparing for watching a movie with friends).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Doesn't every cool traveler have to have a profile here? In general, of course, I like the idea of couchsurfing. I like hosting people, inviting them to my home, showing the local life from the inside, trying to give at least a bit of feeling that they LIVED a part (at list a tiny one) of their life at their travel destination.
I hosted once 2 girls from Austria (Judith and Lisa who live offline lives and haven't left me a reference here :) ).
I surfed a few times in Europe (Munich, Brussels, Cologne, Budapest). Unfortunately, this isn't much reflected in my references. We used to travel with my friend and write couch requests and references from her profile. So the hosts wrote references to her profile. And now I'm too shy to ask them to write them to mine as well :)
