Hi this is Lyn. I enjoy the different aspects from life. I have been teaching foreigners Chinese as a second language for over 17years. Teaching online while traveling has become a daily routine for me during my past few years of studying in the UK and travelling in Europe.

Hey This is Cris. I once studied and worked in Japan and have a deep affection for Japanese language and culture. After returning to my hometown, I founded a children's reading institution and have been running it for three years. As my eight-year-old son Joy has grown up, children's education and spiritual cultivation have now become the main thread of my life.

Hello, this is Crislyn. We are good friends and partners who have known each other for many years. It was not until last year that we began to collaborate on a reading club. We decided to jointly establish a project about children's self-employment.On weekends, we take children of different ages to the woods, mountains, parks and beaches for various extracurricular activities. During these activities, they can acquire knowledge from different subjects. They have developed a great interest in many fields. Unlike the classroom teaching methods in schools, we have weakened the classroom teaching and strengthened students' autonomy. Now our children have more self-awareness. They even host their own youth reading clubs by themselves.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted friends from friend's friends before they told me about CS. After such a good experience i found out there is a platform called Couchsurfing where all travellers doing the same thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There was a coincident that I had CS experience before I knew it! I lived in my friend's house when I come to Hainan, Beijing and Shanghai many years ago.I hosted my foreign friends in my house and guided them when I was free or just gave them some information about my hometown.

Interests

We spend our spare time on Yoga , playing basketball,badmintan, bowlling,billiard and other sports with friends.Reading and writing Chinese calligraphy are our daily hobbies.
Travelling must be HUGE part in our life!

Music, Movies, and Books

We buy new books for our home. We are reading books related to education, mental growth, philosophy and art.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have decided to hold a reading club for adults and children together. We are also establishing a project aimed at creating an all-round learning space based on nature for children. To provide children with more opportunities to get in touch with nature and develop their independence and autonomy, we are doing this!!!

As a teacher who teaches Chinese to foreigners, I am very willing to share with you the knowledge about Chinese language and culture. We have traveled to many countries and even plan to do RV trips in the future, integrating our educational concepts into our travels. Maybe you can give us more inspirations and suggestions.
