About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make my -and others- stay in that world worth it ;)...

ABOUT ME

I am an open minded guy who always seeks for new experiences and challenges.

I LOVE to meet people who share the same way of thinking.
Some people who encounter my path on my travelling likes to say that I am crazy and restless (like doing the round trip of Taïwan alone by motorbike in 5 days by raining and snowing weather) but when I am not travelling I can be a very lazy guy, who likes the comfort of my warm bed and the pleasure of an empty saturday doing nothing.

Aside from that, I am originally from Paris but currently stay in Lausanne in Switzerland.
I am a graduated IT engineer with a Master in Business Administration working currently as a project manager and business analyst in a Swiss Private Bank (yeah I know it's so cliché)

PHILOSOPHY

Since I started travelling, I got aware of one thing:

"Life is like a big trip where you have to chose between the highway and the countryside road.

On one side the highway is a secure path that will lead you to your destination as fast as possible, you will however see nothing of the landscape arround.
On the other side, the countryside road is a longer, more dangereous road that can sometimes slow you down or drive you away from your destination.
But at one corner, you can see one magnificient and beautiful landscape that you would never have seen if you took the highway.

Then the question is : which path are you choosing ?

But be sure that there is no right or wrong choice. Only the choice you make defines who you are. And that's what choices have always been about.

"

Oh and don't forget, happiness is in the balance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Allright peeps ! I got an amazing 75m2 flat in the center of Lausanne, Switzerland 6 min away by walk to the best bar in town : The great escape.
I have a big couch that can welcome a bunch of fellow couchsurfer. And always have beer in the fridge.

I am a traveller myself and would love to give back the experience that other couchsurfer gave to me. Living in switzerland can be especially pricey so I am glad I can help out people who are worth it. And couchsurfers are !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I personnaly have no experience with couchsurfing experience, for all my travellings I only chose the guest house (praise the god website hostelworld.com). But I definitely would like to experience Couchsurfing in the near future !

The only experience I had with couchsurfing was at a friend's house who hosted Slovenian guys and girls, so lovely ! We really had fun together.

Hey I may not sound hipster but I like Sci-Fi movie such as Tron and Oblivion.
I like chill, techno, dance music as well as epic music from video games.
Books ? Most of Isaac Asimov and A.E Van Vogt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have ever done is the round trip of Taïwan by motorbike in 5 days, all by myself.

It was such a challenge to go on a trip alone, without any support and without speaking the language.

One thing I discovered during my journey is eventhough I went alone on my trip. I was actually never alone. I met so many people, made so many friendship on the way that I got confident that wherever we go, we are never alone.

Aside from that, I challenged myself to a point I am proud to overcome all my limits during this exhausting and dangereous trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach
"The heart of a man will always be afraid of the mountain, not the road that goes through" - Vietnamese poet
In other words, we are always scared of the big picture (the scary mountain) but we all have the ability to overcome all the difficulties by moving step by step (following the road). All we have to do is to believe in ourselves that we can go through.

Learn
How to react to people/words I don't like and accept everyone as they are.

Share
Stories and experience. And inspire people with determination, and self confidence.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share you a fair deal to come to Switzerland and allow you to visit it by an interesting way : MOTORBIKE. Switzerland is a beautiful country, but you will realize it even more by seing it through a motorbike ride.

Otherwise, I have many stories to share about trips, tips, and of course, contact I made all over the world. Extending the network is the key to success isn't it ;P
