It's always fascinating to be able to explore a new place with the people living there - those who know it best.

- 2011: Hosted Aki from Japan
- 2012: Hosted Aki (again)
- 2013: Hosted Matt (1 night), Thomas (2 night), Ben (1 night); guided Matthias's group, Marine & Hugo, the lovely Maria & her 50 cent fan boyfriend; surfed at Chad's place in Boracay, surfed at Hamiz's place in Kuala Lumpur
- 2015: Hosted Florian (countless times), met Anthony in Yangon, went around the country with Damian & Alan
- 2016: Surfed at Indra's place in Brunei
- 2017: Hosted Val for countless nights
- 2018: Surfed at Bao's dorm in Wisconsin

Music: I listen to almost anything I could find. My biggest influences include Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens & Lizzy Grant. I'm also a fan of The Black Keys, City & Color, Eagles, Arctic Monkeys, Cat Power, folk & country. Chances are, if the guy is with a beard, plays guitar, sings depressing music and wears casually worn out shirt, I'm going to like it.

Movies: Hearing stories on screen is such a treat. Anything with Winona Ryder or created by David Lynch or Lars Von Trier would do for now. I can also put the Harry Potter series on repeat.
