About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore Canada and all it's infinite wonders. or at least come somewhat close.

ABOUT ME

Adventurer, Vagabond, Treeplanter, Hitchhiker, Hippie and various other labels seem to stick. Although I'd always called myself Canadian, and had strong views on what CANADA was, I realized that I had seen just a tiny fraction of this magnificent nation, and I set out to see the rest. It's a work in progress. This country is freaking HUGE.

PHILOSOPHY

Question EVERYTHING. There are no absolutes, only perspectives, and what may be true or right for one person isn't necessarily for another. Live life as you want, on your terms, because you only get one life, and it'd be a shame to see it wasted. Life should be measured in the moments that take your breath away, not the breaths you take.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not terribly big on most electronic media, but I am constantly reading anything I can get my hands on, and usually have books available for trade.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the single most breathtaking experiences of my life was seeing a small band of wild horses while treeplanting one foggy morning. The story is best told in person. Preferably by a campfire.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook and am more than happy to help others learn. I have many practical outdoors skills, and am an avid fan of minimalism and survivalism. I also travel with books, and encourage literacy and book exchanges everywhere.
