ABOUT ME

I got bitten by the travelling bug in my third year of University. I'd been a few places in Canada and the USA but nothing prepared me for a 10 month exchange program at the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. It changed my life.

Ever since then, I've been hooked, addicted, unable to go very long without moving cities or countries. A few years ago in Korea I met my current partner in crime Lawrence who I've been travelling with for ages now.

We've been living in Toronto for about a year now, finishing up MA programs. It's been ages since we've tried "surviving" at home, and this is the longest I've gone without needing my trusty backpack in ages, so meeting up with some couch surfers for coffee and a chat would be great.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am brand new to couch surfing. I was introduced to it by a friend who had done it in Europe. While we were sharing a flat with this friend, a couch surfer stayed with us. I was blown away by her friendliness, confidence and goal to travel New Zealand only by couch surfing and decided not long after that this was an experience I needed to try...and I LOVE it!
