Overview
About Me
Hello! My name is Hoda, I’m from Egypt and I work as an English teacher.
I’m a very calm and respectful person who enjoys meaningful conversations, learning about cultures, and simple daily life experiences. I love languages, psychology, and meeting people from different backgrounds.
I’m not a party person, I prefer quiet walks, cafés, historical places, and local food. One of my biggest goals is to travel not only to see places, but to understand how people really live in different countries.
I believe traveling is about human connection more than tourism. For me, Couchsurfing is not a free accommodation, it’s a cultural exchange and a chance to build genuine friendships around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I want to experience countries from a local perspective, not as a tourist. Hotels are comfortable, but they don’t teach you about real life.
As a teacher, I’m also interested in improving my English communication and learning how people think and live in other societies. I would be happy to share my culture, Arabic language, and Egyptian traditions as well.
I’m grateful for any host who opens their home, and I always respect house rules and privacy.

What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest, I’m clean, organized, and independent. I don’t expect to be entertained all the time. I can spend time exploring the city alone, and I completely understand that hosts have their own lives and work schedules.
I’m happy to help with small things like cooking, washing dishes, or sharing a meal together. I also enjoy cooking Egyptian food if my host is interested!
My goal is to leave a good memory, not a burden.
