Came here due to a planned trip to Manchester - which I then booked a room for. But I already hosted some people and it was a lot of fun and interesting to meet new people and get a glimpse into their lifes.
Im open to hosting people as well as surfing some more couches in the near future.

Im a bit shy at the beginning but if I find a sympathetic and empathic person I am usually easygoing and relaxed. Im a better listener than talker, so I usually only start talking a lot when there's a topic Im really interested in and I have the feeling Im not boring the other person to death.

I always take my trusty old Leica with me and I love snapping pics and documenting my travels and experiences. Besides that Im heavily into music, was a singer in a band (still am kinda) and love going
to concerts or anything involving art. Im also a cinema lover and love a good series to binge-watch.

Ive been to Tchernobyl and it was great seeing this "lostest of all lost places" and the ghost town of Pripjat and meeting some of the inhabitants of Tchernobyl ... it reminded me of the former GDR.
We drove there about 14 hours in a small van and it was the most adventureous trip ever with several flat tires, a broken down car and hours of waiting on the ukrainian-polish border including pushing the broken car through the border control to the other side in the freezing cold.

Visited Manchester this year - what a great city - and saw the Hollywood Vampires live (Johnny Depp and Alice Cooper :D and walked the same streets as the guys of Joy Dvision and enjoyed the progressive attitude and the free museums.

Besides that I always appreciate any kind of movie, art show, exhibition or gig Im going to. It takes me right out of everyday life into another world.
