Présentation
À propos de moi
Hi my name is Hojun Sung, I'm South Korean.
I'm currently studying translation, and I’m very much interested in culture in general. I speak french and english, and korean is my native language.
This autumn from about 24th of September I go for the Routes of Santiago, from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in France.
Merci.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I love to learn, and to share cultures with people, talking about how lives differ according to their natural and cultural environments.
Because I think that expands our life, and keep our days from being locked up in our narrow minded visions of the world.
I think traveling various countries would give us a great opportunity to feel the atmosphere of different cultures, but to know it and to feel it more deeply, you should communicate with people who actually live in that very society.
So I'd like to meet people who'd like to share their cultures and insights on the world.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I love classical music. Especially keyboard music. Gould, Richter, Cortot, Gilels, Trifonov, Tureck, Yudina, Sofronitsky, Kempff, Lipatti, Scott Ross, are among my favorite pianists (or clavicinistes, or magicians.)
Bach, Schubert, Mozart, Beethoven, Ravel, Scarlatti, on and on.
I was a cinephile when I was a teenager. I watched quite a lot of films, films d'auteur, as they put it. Too many to name. But I have to say,
Paranoid Park by Gus Van Sant
Stray Dogs by Tsai Ming-Liang
Mes petites amoureuses by Jean Eustache
Un conte de Noel by Arnaud Desplechin
Paul Eluard, Jean Genet (sur Giacometti), Pascal Quignard.
I don't read a lot but they touched me. I write more than I read :)
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I'm a classical music junky, so I think I can let you know some about classical music, though not very well :)
I play a little bit of piano and guitar.
I love to cook but I'm not good at Korean food. I love to help you making food but unfortunately I'm not so confident on making my country's food :(
