ABOUT ME

I´m from Richmond, VA. I went to college at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!), graduated in 2007. I studied International Studies, which made it difficult to make a career choice as most of the jobs involve working in DC and in politics. Although I enjoy talking about politics, I learned I would never want to work in it. Over the past 2 years I´ve been traveling all over Latin America and working part time jobs back home in between to fund my trips! As I career, I believe I´d like to go back to school and become an ESL teacher, but first I want to spend some time in Argentina and gain some experience teaching English while learning Spanish!

PHILOSOPHY

Pura Vida (it´s from Costa Rica, meaning pure life, and I absolutely love that phrase!)

I love to travel, especially in Latin America. With all the traveling I´ve done, my Spanish should be better than what it is, but I still try! I love meeting new people and hearing their stories, life experiences, etc. I enjoy music and books. I also love the ocean (wanted to be a marine biologist until I was 18), especially surfing and scuba diving
