ABOUT ME

I am an avid knowledge seeker. I love learning something that makes me stop and think. I am a very open person and easy going. I love to read and often will be reading three different books at a time, varying in genre. I am quite a talker and love to share stories with friends and strangers, but I will zip my lips to hear someone else speak and be as interested in their story as I was telling mine. To me, it's another story I can share with others or reflect on by myself. I rock climb often with my dad and roommate and love being outdoors any chance I can. Oddly enough, I love shoes and often when I travel I bring back a pair. I often travel away from my home of New Mexico to see new places or to go back to favorites. My favorite place to go is Flagstaff, AZ, currently, because I like the small town feeling and the place is so gorgeous with its mountains and woods surrounding it and I can go often because it is only a 5 hour drive away! I am a very sweet person, as often people describe me. I am a bit shy when first met, but I warm up faster than a kettle put on the stove. I am very grateful for what I have and am excited for my future. I like to laugh and smile and make jokes, but never to hurt or attack someone.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is how you interact with your world. To get the most out of life is to be respectful, accepting and mindful of the society that surrounds you. I rarely tune out my world with distractions. I like to live in the moment as much as possible and learn as much as I can about anything. I never judge and believe being sincere and kind is the best way to engage with people. Being human means making mistakes and being imperfect, and I take that to be as a responsibility to make sure I fix my mistakes and imperfections as much as I can every time they happen.

For now, I plan to travel. When I settle down somewhere and in sometime in the future, I will have a couch available to give for someone else's journey.

I am very interested in art history, especially architecture.I do have a bit of a shoe obsession. I like to write, draw, and read. I rock climb and hike often. I love traveling.

Books: The Invisible Man by HG Wells, The Road by Cormac McCarthy, Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella, Perfume by Patrick Suskind.... and others. Currently reading IT by Stephen King.

The most amazing thing I have done is my first time out of country, visiting the South Korean exchange student that lived with my family for a year. The experience of meeting her family and seeing her culture was truly wonderful and one of my best memories.

I am a terrible cook and would love to acquire some cooking skills. I edit friends' scripts and stories and love to help with an idea or read over a piece. I, also, am very good at putting outfits together (especially picking out the right shoes) ha ha! My sister doesn't leave the house without asking me about what she should wear when it comes to an important interview or a date.
