Overview
About Me
I’ve always been drawn to cultures, people, and places beyond my own borders — that pull has shaped much of who I am. I’ve lived abroad, and after returning home I became an ambassador of the Riga Expat Community (InterNations.org), organizing events and connecting global minds.
Professionally, I’m an entrepreneur in the cleaning industry: I run a shop for professional cleaning products, educate people on smarter ways of cleaning, and I’m building an innovative digital platform and educational center. For me, cleaning isn’t just about surfaces — it’s a philosophy and science of wellbeing. It’s also one of the reasons I travel: I often combine workshops, courses, or exhibitions with a few days of cultural exploration. I’m not a checklist tourist — I prefer to experience the soul of a place through its people.
I’m drawn to honest, raw conversations that question the narratives we’re told — whether personal, cultural, or global. I’m not into fluffy spirituality or trendy slogans; I prefer embodied experiences, shadow work, and exchanges that are human, grounded, sometimes uncomfortable, yet alive. Sarcasm and dark humor are my seasoning, but connection is the real substance.
I enjoy noticing and capturing the beauty and magic in the realness of things — not in polished perfection, but in moments that carry a story. An old wall, a fleeting shadow, or the atmosphere of a room can feel more alive to me than anything curated. Those fragments of reality often become seeds for my writing or speaking, because words are the way I weave meaning and share what I see.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Before Couchsurfing even existed, I was part of HospitalityClub.org — hosting, being hosted, and meeting amazing people around the world. That experience showed me what hospitality really means: not free accommodation, but genuine exchange.
Now I continue that spirit here. I travel mainly for workshops, courses, and exhibitions, but I always add time to connect with people and discover the soul of a place.
I’m not a free hotel, and I’m not looking for one when I travel. I’m also not into surface-level encounters — to consume or to be consumed. For me, Couchsurfing is about connection.
If there’s a real spark, I’m happy to be a local friend: someone you can trust for honest advice, hidden places tourists never find, or simply for sharing food and conversation. And when I’m the one traveling, I hope you might be that local friend for me, if the connection feels right.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love anything that stirs the soul, expands awareness, or reveals the raw side of life. Music that moves me, films that shock or shift me, books that wake me up or cut through illusions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve learned to use pain as a mirror of truth and transform it into strength — an alchemy that has refined me instead of breaking me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I bring authenticity, respect, and a clean, considerate presence. I’m independent and happy on my own, but I also enjoy shared moments when they happen naturally — cooking together, exploring hidden corners, laughing, or diving into thought-provoking conversations.
I can share knowledge from my path as an entrepreneur and cultural explorer, lived and embodied experiences, and the kind of talks that cut through illusions. And if the connection feels right, I sometimes bring out the more “magical” side too — tarot, guided journeys, or other soul-based insights.
What I’d love to learn in return are new perspectives: your culture, your stories, the local places that tourists miss, and anything that ignates your Soul.
