Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to couchsurfing but am really excited to learn about it. I will be traveling throughout Europe with my husband on our honeymoon soon and hoping to meet awesome people all around. When we get back to the U.S. , we are interested in hosting!

I want to learn about your favorite restaurants, bars, nooks and crannies of your town or city. I want to learn what life is like for you as a resident.

And, when I get to host, I'll be excited to share the same with you. I love making little guides for visitors and friends and sharing all the "secret" special spots where I live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was very privileged to go to a Saito Homa ceremony in the foothills of Mt. Fuji in Japan. It's a sacred annual purification ritual part of the Shinnyo-en Buddism tradition. It was amaaaazing. And I got to because I won an art contest earning me a spot. One of the best experiences of my life.
