Hello!
My name is Hollie, I'm 25 years old and originally from Essex in the UK. It's taken some time but I'm FINALLY doing a bit of snooping around the globe.
In Oct last year I came to Canada, and am just coming to the end of an amazing ski season at Panorama Mountain in BC.
In April myself and a friend plan to do the usual West Coast road trip through the US (San Fran, LA, San Diego, VEGAS!) - after doing a bit of couchsurfing in Calgary I would love to do some more.

I've had many a recommendation from friends who have traveled - and it couldn't be more true that staying with locals enhances the experience so much more than the usual hotel room. I'm forever reading blogs, articles, instagrams - trying to find out the hidden treasures of a location! Couchsurfing does just that. With the added bonus of possibly making some great new friends along the way!

If I could eat out 3 times a day 7 days a week I'd be a very happy (and large) lady. Food is a huge passion of mine, along with film and festivals

Useless answer but music-wise I love a bit of everything. House, R&B, country... anything live to be honest! Festivals and gigs are my happy place.
Movies I've watched recently and loved have been - Room, The Butler, What's Eating Gilbert Grape.
Currently reading the sequel to 'Shantaram', loved Kite Runner, Gone Girl, When God was a Rabbit (read it!)

I went up the Canadian Rockies in a helicopter, skied down, and finished off the day with a cheese and chocolate fondue. HEAVEN!
