Hello Everyone!
My name is Olivia but I prefer to be called Holly (or Olli) instead, since I can't really stand anymore the joke "and where's Popeye?". Seriously, not funny ;)
I'm italian but I've been living for the last 12 years in Spain, first in Barcelona and then in Madrid (I prefer madrid in case you are wondering).
Spain is my home and I absolutely love it, but italy comes first when football is involved ;)
I worked the last 4 years as hotel manager, job that I really loved but took me all the energies, that's why I took the decision to quit last december and start travelling the world. I'm currently in South America and I'm loving it!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've tried couchsurfing for the very first time 2 years ago in Dublin as I was travelling alone. I met this crazy irish guy I had such a fun weekend with, so since then, I do believe that is a great tool to meet very cool people around the world who i'm willing to share part of my travels, life, laughs, and beer with :)
And I must say that everytime I met someone I find amazing how easy is the connection with him/her and above all, I find special how hosts can trust you and open the door of their home without knowing you at all.

I like photography and I'm also trying to learn to play guitar (not so good results so far, jeje). And of course, traveling.
