Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in the process of moving from the Big Island to Oahu and would love a place to crash while I apartment hunt and job hunt! It'd be great to hear a local's suggestions for neighborhoods to check out, etc. I also love trying out new ways to travel and meet people, I've never couch surfed before and would love to form my own experiences to share with others! (I have used workaway and WWOOF so it just feels like the next thing I need to try!)

I make videos about travel and that is my biggest hobby and very much a passion project. I love being lost in nature as much as I enjoy the city and everything in between. Shopping, wine and dining, and Broadway... to hiking, writing, and singing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of pop and jazz and r&b music... the kinda music you can sing along to. I also love alternative, classic rock, grunge, some rap every now and then, and lots of oldies.

I am a huge movie lover. I'm not into a specific genre but Lord of the Rings is my favorite.

I'm not much of a reader. I listen to a lot of podcasts and audiobooks though. Right now I'm relistening to Lord of the Rings and I've got some self-help books in the queue.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved into my car and traveled all over North America for 6 months. It was absolutely incredible and I miss being on the open road, as amazing as Hawaii is! I love swapping travel stories :)

I can teach about minimalism, chasing your dreams, changing your life, finding your best self and anything involving the creation of videos; editing, filming, etc.

I'd love to learn how to sing better, an instrument, a language, any information on how to be a better traveler, etc.
