I'm an artist and writer, I was living in Norwich for 4 years but currently am living a more nomadic life. I am a practising buddhist within the Triratna movement, and have been devoting a lot of my life to the buddhist path. I often volunteer at outside events in the Summer, and like spending time in nature.

I'm interested in meeting new people out of my comfort zone. Also to develop faith in the kindness of strangers!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love music. I particularly like folk music right now, and would like to listen to more classical music. I like folk music as it feels like music that has come from the earth.. I don't watch a lot of movies, but one I like a lot is called 'Silence' and is about a sound artist who travels to his homeland, Ireland, to record the sound of silence! I am an avid reader, currently I like reading buddhist books that support my practice. I also love a good novel, can't beat something from JK Rowling or Philip Pullman!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not sure, recently I was at a gathering where we had a full moon party round the fire. Then later made a procession to a well, within which the moon was reflected, meaning we could stand around the moon and sing. So maybe not something I've personally done, but it felt amazing to be part of the group and experience this situation.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can read tarot cards and am always happy to give a reading to someone, or do a little teaching. I meditate every day and would be happy to do a guided mediation, or just mediate with someone!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be happy to do some cooking or help with the washing up, or either of the things mentioned above. I'm also just happy to help out and get involved with whatever is needed.
