We are an engaged couple staying abroad for as long as we can and meeting cool folks along the way. We teach English in southern Spain and we like to travel whenever we have the means to do so. Eli is more talkative and adventurous, while Holly is more spacey and artistic, but both of us love meeting cool folks.
Some of our favorite things: good conversation, good books, mushrooms, art!, macaroni and cheese, concerts, mango, climbing trees, hiking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to see new places, host people in our little beach town in Spain and make some great friends! We are always talking to strangers as we travel, and Couchsurfing seems like a great platform to facilitate what we already love about travel.

Interests

I love linguistics and phonetics, I'm fluent in Spanish, and I can talk all day about mushrooms. I sold art for a span of time but mainly do art for myself now. I will most likely be travelling with my partner Eli who brings great energy to any room.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camino de Santiago -- a pilgrimage in the north of Spain. We walked about 118km over the course of 6 days with all of our belongings on our backs. We slept in whatever town we arrived in that day, and shared food with people we met along the journey. It really felt like we were travellers from the Middle Ages!
