Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel a lot, used to be for work and now for fun. I'm looking for friends to join in adventures and hiking trips and to practice my Spanish and Portuguese. I especially want to meet locals who can show me and teach me new languages, places, or traditions.

Share: stories, friendship, food. ALSO: I love introducing people to backpacking/trekking. With enough notice, I am happy to act as “guide” for you, particularly in the Great Lakes area or in Chicago or Detroit . (I’d just ask you to split the cost of gas and that find/borrow/rent any gear for anything I don’t have extras).
