I'm trying to enjoy life as it comes, trusting in the process and seeing where it takes me. I'm lucky and humbled to have travelled to some amazing places and met many wonderful people. I am very curious about others and love to learn something from everyone I meet - big or small, but I think so much can be gained from broadening our horizons through connecting with others - and Couchsurfing is a great way of doing that.

A bit about me - I'm from the UK and worked in independent film exhibition and delivered local community projects, but then covid hit and, like many, was suddenly without work. This time really made me appreciate the small, slow things in life, and I am grateful for it. I had a re-shuffle and I moved to Amsterdam to study a second time around. I did a pre-masters in Middle Eastern Studies and then a master's in Anthropology, conducting fieldwork in Wadi Rum desert in Jordan, living with a Bedouin family for four months, which was an incredible experience. And now, I am back in Amsterdam, hoping to start exploring some more.

Interests

I love being outdoors and exploring this beautiful world we live in - whether that's wandering around a busy city for hours on end or wild camping in total wilderness. I also love to visit museums, listen to live music, watch films, cook dinner, try new food or simply drink a coffee/beer and watch the world go by.
