ABOUT ME

Originally from Seattle, I spent 20 years in the apparel industry, most recently as a department head. I left the corporate world in the fall of 2004 to pursue a practice of mediation and consultation with my sweetie Conal Elliott (see my friends) using the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) or Compassionate Communication. We have since come to incorporate and appreciate other modalities, including Byron Katie and various progressive spiritual ideas.

My experiences helping others improve and enrich their relationships have been deeply rewarding, and yet, Conal and I were wanting to shake things up a bit. We moved to San Andreas in the spring of 2007 to live on his 20 acre property, adjacent to his family's 60 acre place.

I now live a peaceful, quiet country life with Conal, interspersed with exciting periods of travel. His mom (who I adore) lives next door and we spend a good deal of time enjoying her light and wisdom.

I eat vegetarian, with limited amounts of dairy and fish. I love learning and have many interests. I write, think about consciousness, and read voraciously. I love to play online and with the computer.

I have a daughter who lives with her husband north of Seattle, and they have one child, my first grandchild. My parents also live in Seattle.
