I'm studying Nursing at university, and as a result I have no time for travelling overseas anymore. In my free time I like to go swimming and running (but I'm recovering from a broken foot, so can't do that much anymore) and I also like to read, do crafts and go to local markets, go contra dancing and listen to music. I've got a violin, a mandolin, three guitars, a tin whistle, a low D whistle and a harmonica... but I barely know how to play any of them! I'd love to be able to play Irish music and join a few sessions one day. My family are German, so I know a bit of German, and I like learning French as well. I'm pretty outdoorsy, but since breaking my foot in December 2017 I have had to take it a bit easier which has been pretty frustrating!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I am keen to meet and host couchsurfers because I don't have much of a chance to travel anymore due to studies so I want to live vicariously through you guys! I also live with my boyfriend, but he is FIFO (fly in fly out) worker so he's away 50% of the time and I find that my house gets a little bit too quiet and lonely for my likings! I need someone to fight off the monsters when I'm home alone (ha ha...).
