ABOUT ME

I meeting new people and learning how other people live! I signed up for couchsurfing a while ago, but then I went back to school (at the American Film Institute). Now I'm back!!

I enjoy watching and learning about human behavior and reading books about the brain and how it functions, malfunctions and heals.

My love is traveling because it allows me to constantly discover new ideas and see new landscapes. It reminds me that we can shape our own world if we are conscious enough and take action.

I'm interested in art, food I've never tasted, differing life philosophies, how people create happiness and in learning more about the inner workings of families in different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed with my good friends for years and excited about this site. I am in awe of the kindness of strangers, and I love to be a stranger who is kind.

Interests

My main interest in life is storytelling. I love listening to people who have stories to tell, which is another HUGE plus to traveling. You simply cannot make up some of the best stories people have experienced in real life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently reading a book my friend wrote called "Hurry Down Sunshine" -- movies for me are usually comedies OR I love a great action adventure film, especially if people are trying to save our crazy world after humans have destroyed it in some way! :)

What amazes me most is human vulnerability. That is true strength.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be a stand-up comic, and still dabble, and what I've learned from performing is that people genuinely WANT you to succeed on stage. Humans like to root for others who risk - it's cathartic for them.
