I work full time in the Education sector supporting children with special educational needs. I am also a mum to a beautiful and very energetic boy, and a proud owner of two very needy cats.

I love new adventures, and have recently got into camping and festivals. I try to keep plants alive and grow vegetables in the garden.

I listen to a range of music and can usually be found dancing to 90s Brit pop in the kitchen, sometimes singing too loudly.

When I get a night off from being mum I like to go to the theatre or see some stand-up comedy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have lived and hosted CS'ers in Oaxaca, Mexico and Nottingham, England.

I have surfed my way through Europe and had a great experience.

I'm now living in Rugby in Warwickshire with my young son and cats where I have a lovely spare bedroom where I can sometimes host (weekends only).

Interests

Red and vegetarian food. Good coffee and Strictly come dancing. Chatting about ethics and philosophy, education and politics. Stand up comedy. Traveling and day dreaming about traveling.

I can teach you how to do a Brummie or Australian accent, or alternatively teach you how to hold four plates at one time (past life waitressing skills).

I can also recommend lots of podcasts and some good places to drink and eat locally.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bed in the spare room (that doubles up as my office) and coffee and cereal for breakfast.
