ABOUT ME

I've always loved travelling and have spent a lot of time in India, which is also the focus of my PhD research (South Asian history). I've also been to Indonesia and many places around Europe. I recently joined Couch Surfing because my girlfriend and I are embarking on a trip to Russia for a month. We'll start in St Petersburg, staying in a friend's flat, and we really want to stay with a Moscow local/s through Couch Surfing in September for a few days! Our friends are big fans of Couch Surfing and have had great experiences through it.

Tana Toraja in Indonesia - an incredible and very strange place. Lots of fascinating ceremonies and rituals, and we enjoyed getting to know a family there who took us under their wing.
