I love being around people; I also have a strong independent streak. I'm always a little baffled when attempting to fill in little boxes with words that tell others "all about me."

PHILOSOPHY

In his deathbed, surrounded by many students, Buddha said "I have taught you all many things, but most of those things aren't important." The students, intrigued, asked "What is important then?" Then Buddha died.

It's brilliant. I'm glad I was introduced to it because I've met scores of lovely people in wonderful places I probably couldn't have visited otherwise.

兴趣

I love sunlight and starry nights (and photons in general), camping, swimming, seeing how high I can stack whatever is around, coffee, reading (mostly science and scifi), wine, taking pictures, tattoos (though I have none), puns, elevators with a glass wall, crafty folk, quilting, coloring, documentaries, David Attenborough, cuttlefish, octopi, cats, kids, some adults, some dogs, plants, bugs, celestial phenomena, listening to people talk about anything they are really excited about, nerds, table top games (chess, go, blokus, agricola, a game of thrones, eclipse, gaia project, scrabble, boggle, etc.)... that's definitely not all.
