ABOUT ME

Aged 27(Julien) and 31 (I), we like to take life easy. Julien grew up in the south east of France near Aix-en-Provence, where his parents still live; I was born one hour's drive from Paris down south.

I spent a year in Montreal in 2002-2003 for my studies and have been travelling serveral times to the US since I was thirteen years-old. My maximum stay there was three months in Boston. Almost a year ago we sold all our belongings to move to London, and start a new life there. We loved it, and after a bit of house-sharing and job-hunting, we eventually found ourselves a fab 2-bedroom flat in leafy West Kensington where we still live on our own.

Weird thing about me? Although French definitely is my mother tongue, I used to fancy myself as a native speaker of English when I was three or four, while stubbornly struggling to pick up on Barbara Streisand's most famous hit "I am a woman in love" phonetically (!)

Interests

Julien's - video games, graphic design, and playing the guitar (10 years so far!). Mine - singing (vocal jazz improv, scat, standards) acting, dancing, writing, creative activities in general and intercultural exchanges.We both love creative cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

We're both very keen on Gipsy jazz, and I've had an ongoing crush on the Bebop and Hardbop eras for a few years. Now, Julien isn't the bookish type, but my favorite writers and playwrights are Orwell, Shakespeare, Beckett and Sarah Kane. Movie wise, we both loved "Eternal Sunshine", "Vanilla Sky" and "Dogville".
