I am always between itchy feet and home sickness :) we are curiously exploring the world and all its little things together. We live in one of the nicest districts of Dresden, in the Newtown (Neustadt), it is vibrant, alternative and energetic and we enjoy it very much.
We also have a little garden in a public charity (this typical german thing) with a small summer house, 2 km away from our flat where we have a lot of work to do but also a place to rest, meet friends and have barbecues. Any knowledge about gardening is more than welcome as we are absolute beginners.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

no words to describe...or just GREAT!! I met some interesting people over the last 9 years on couchsurfing, some of them are still friends today. We can learn so much from each other and everybody has a story to tell and knowledge to share. Life is great and never stands still.

Exploring and discovering the nature, doing sports like biking and hiking in the beautiful mountains nearby, different cultural things like theatre, musicals and concerts and of course travelling!!
I love streetart and alternative parts of cities, were different cultures, students and bohemians live.
I'm not really a big city person but I love the place where we live in combination with our garden.
I also really really enjoy cooking, playing with spices, tasting new flavours and dishes from all over the world. Particularly with my own planted vegetables and herbs ;)

discovered the mountains on a sledge with five sledge dogs as well as participated on several championships with them, diving in the caribbean, paragliding in turkey, feeding elephants in Sri Lanka

I really want to speak with you about different topics, also depending where you come from and what your ideas are. I really appreciate to share ideas, opinions, experiences. I also love food and to cook (vegeterian/vegan) and I am always interested in new flavors and tastes. Cooking and eating together is always a pleasure for me. I can teach you how to bake a german bread and I know a lot about spices :)
