Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
CS experience:
My first CS experience was back in 2010 when I got to be 'a guide' for my German CS friend and showed him around my hometown Perm when I still lived there. Shortly after I hosted two girls from Germany and Austria for a couple of days and acted as their guide and translator as well :) Then I hosted Olga from Kazan, Russia for a couple of days and I remember talking late into the night about contemporary Russian art over a cup of tea :)
A lot has happened since my last CS experience and I had to, sort of, abandon Couchsurfing for a while. I had a long period of instability in life and had to constantly move, not knowing where I'd end up living next year. Now that my life's taken an upward turn and I've started travelling again (although this time for good reasons), I'm very much looking forward to reconnect with CS and its wonderful community of like-minded travellers!
Though, unfortunately, I'm unable to host again yet, because I live in a teeny-tiny rental in Barcelona, I would absolutely love to give you a tour around Barcelona and tell you about all its hidden treasures and lesser known places, because I love this city so much that I'd really enjoy sharing its beauty and history with anyone! I'm also really hopeful to find some nice people to host me =)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
jumped off a boat into a 10-feet deep sea while not knowing how to swim
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I think Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to constantly learn something new! This is very important for me, as I'm a teacher of Russian for foreigners and as of recently a Master's student in International Relations in Barcelona. I very much enjoy sharing my knowledge about my country and all the places I've been to as well as learn about yours =)
