ABOUT ME

My name is HONG, you can call me Sophia.
My biggest dream is to be a volunteer in Africa, no matter for animal protection or humanitarian work.

I am an easy-going people who is passionate about charitable work. I did a lot of voluntary work in various fields.
Before I worked in an educational NGO in Beijing, and I resigned in August.
Now I need to reaffirm my self-worth. Hhhh

I like staying at home, alone or with my family. However, I am also keen on traveling around the world.

I have been to a lot of place in China alone, such as Tibet, Xinjiang, Sichuan, Yunnan...
So if you are interested in Chinese culture and the most beautiful places in China, I can share a lot of things with you.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As I enjoy "me time" when I travel alone, I am willing to meet local friends. I believe the experience of couch-surfing really will make me better able to engage in all the local things and understand more about my destination beyond the Lonely Planet or travel tips.
To achieve the dream of traveling around the world, I hope I will meet interesting people from all over the world. Maybe next one is you!

I also am willing to offer a couch for every traveller to my hometown-Yingtan, Jiangxi, although now I am not working in my hometown and there is no available room for guest in my renting house. But I still can offer many information and suggestion for you, no matter you are coming to Beijing or my hometown.

I am a foodie, so I enjoy trying local food and searching for special restaurants wherever I am. Fruit, coffee, cake, and seafood are my favorite...

I love studying, listening to music, reading, and meeting different kinds of people.
