About Me

WE CAN’T HOST DECEMBER AND JANUARY.

We are Czech!
We love beer and good food.
We are very easy going and always try to find the best in other people.
We are open for any discussion especially about food, traveling and other cultures/traditions.
We are optimistic and generally happy people
We play volleyball, squash and beer pong!
We prefer dogs over cats and also like turtles.
We are free usually after 6pm on weekdays and all day on weekends.

The best way to get to know us is to meet in person ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We host… We surf… We enjoy CS as much as we can!

This is our video from CSing in Turkey!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only the best. Simply wonderful idea how to meet and get to know interesting people, learn about new culture, understand different views…
We have both hosted many people and surfed many places and will not stop! :)

However one thing that we don't like are copy paste messages. Unfortunately we get a lot of them. Our place is not a free hostel for people who just "need to crash somewhere for one night" - this is not what CS is about!
---That is why we would like you to mention the word "Beckie" in your request --- to make sure you read our profile and that you care to whom you are writing.
By the way Beckie is the name of Honza's dog :)

Interests

Traveling - especially unusual places
Sport - volleyball, squash, swimming, cycling...
Books - sci-fi, modern fiction, books about economics and politics
Food - we love any kind of food. Most of all our czech cuisine!!! We will try everything that you cook. Seriously we love food and one day we would like to open a restaurant

Music, Movies, and Books

Godfather, Pulp Fiction, Good Fellas... you get the idea...
As for the music - Jet, Irie Revoltes, Kasabian, Franz Ferdinand...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many things we have seen/done. We travelled Vietnam, Cambodia, Iran, Turkey and many more... we met just the best and kindest people and learned that everywhere is good so why staying at home :)

Honza lived in California for a year. Life-time experience…also lived in Tenerife - a year long holiday :)
Eva lived in Estonia and will always remember the good times with great friends...

Teach, Learn, Share

The first thing people have to offer is usually their language skills. If you know French, Italian, German, or basically any language - you always have something to offer to us...

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can teach you some useful Czech phrases, our culture, history etc. We love cooking and can teach you that from scratch...we share our flat, all our equipment - mi casa es su casa!
