Overview
About Me
Currently taking a break from being a vagabond in order to become a psychologist. I live in Uppsala these days while occasionally working as a bartender and addiction counselor in Stockholm. Used to do a lot of surfing and hosting a few years ago before I moved back home. Still have some of my best friends from that period!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's just the best way to travel.
Interests
Travelling obviously, moving in general (fast), partying and meeting random people. Hitchhiking. Running. I find all kinds of science interesting, especially psychology which is my major and probably my future profession.
I specialize in addiction which is really an area where sociology, psychology and biology meet. I know more about drugs than most people - don't worry, I'm not a drug fiend nor a drug warrior :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Sadly it's been a while since I read a solid fiction novel, my list of non-fiction literature and articles just seems to get longer.
I am massively into house and techno and dabble with dj-ing. Love the old school Chicago and Detroit sound, especially as championed by the scene in Amsterdam and Berlin. I organize parties and club nights.
Series - The Wire, Arrested Development, Parks & Recreation. Currently watching Mr Robot. Wow.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The biggest achievement of my life will always be having obtained a russian tourist visa in Asia. After trying in Bangkok and Hong Kong, I finally got after being stranded in Ulaan Baatar for a week. The frustration...
On a serious note, probably the coolest experience I had was five days on a public riverboat on the Amazon river, Peru. I had just finished high school, 18 years old and was the only foreigner on a boat with hundreds of locals.
Teach, Learn, Share
Vegetarian cooking. House music. Psychedelic science and culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I do like to interact and I don't consider CS to be like a free hotel. The most obvious thing is of course company - sharing a meal, some wine and listen to some good music is what I'm all about. I also bring a ton of good music.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bolivia, Cambodia, China, Finland, France, Germany, India, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Norway, Peru, Portugal, Russian Federation, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia, Spain, Sweden
